Masud Rahman, MS, MBA, is Director of Administration and Finance of the Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health and an Associate Director of the HIV Center. Mr. Rahman has been with the HIV Center since 1988, and has over 25 years of experience in grants and project administration, financial and personal management, and multi-institutional contract management. He oversees all aspects of administrative and financial management of the Center. Mr. Rahman also supervises the Administrative Support Team and facilitates the Center's linkages with all affiliated institutions to provide consolidated service to Center investigators. In addition, Mr. Rahman obtains frequent advice and consultation from funding agencies both on Center-wide programs and on new individual research grants and training initiatives. He is author of the chapter on developing a budget and financial justification in How to Write a Successful Research Grant Application: A Guide for Social and Behavioral Scientists (2010).
