Dr. Circe Gray Le Compte recently joined the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies as a postdoctoral fellow, in Fall 2022. A social epidemiologist by training, she holds Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees from Harvard University, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, in social and behavioral sciences. Dr. Le Compte's research focuses on the use of novel interventions, such as soap operas and PhotoVoice, to improve the health of medically-underserved populations. She is especially concerned with how the lifecourse frames the conceptualization of health and sexual harm reduction practices of Black/African-American gay and bisexual men and transwomen.
